Marinated Steaks, Grilled Fries, & Whiskey Apples on the Solaire Anywhere

INGREDIENTS:
- Grilled Potato Wedges
- 2 Potatoes (par boiled, sliced)
- Coconut Oil enough to coat
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Steak Marinade:
- 2 New York Strip Steaks
- 1 tbsp. Garlic Powder
- ½ tsp. Black Pepper
- ½ tsp. White Pepper
- ½ cup Coconut Oil
- Fresh Rosemary 2 sprigs
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- Whiskey Grilled Apples:
- 2 Sliced Apples
- 1/2 cup Whiskey
- 1/4 Cup Maple Syrup
- Fresh Lemon Juice
- Things You'll Need:
- Solaire Anywhere
- BBQ Tongs
Directions
- The night before camping, prep all of your ingredients so you can pack them in zip top bags & place them in a cooler for the trail
- Mix together the steak marinade, pour over New York strip steaks in a zip top bag
- Mix together whiskey soaking mixture, place sliced apples in mixture in zip top bag
- Slice 2 potatoes into thick wedges. Blanch them for 5 minutes & allow them to cool
- Toss wedges into zip top bag with coconut oil, salt, and pepper
- When you are ready to grill at the campsite, preheat your Solaire Anywhere grill to high heat
- Allow steaks to come to room temperature before grilling
- Sear steaks about 2 minutes per side for medium rare
- While steaks rest, grill potato wedges until they have grill marks & are crisp on all sides
- Grill whiskey soaked apples about 30 seconds per side, just long enough to caramelize
- Remove from grill, serve & enjoy!
