Instructions

The night before camping, prep all of your ingredients so you can pack them in zip top bags & place them in a cooler for the trail
Mix together the steak marinade, pour over New York strip steaks in a zip top bag
Mix together whiskey soaking mixture, place sliced apples in mixture in zip top bag
Slice 2 potatoes into thick wedges. Blanch them for 5 minutes & allow them to cool
Toss wedges into zip top bag with coconut oil, salt, and pepper
When you are ready to grill at the campsite, preheat your grill to high heat
Allow steaks to come to room temperature before grilling
Sear steaks about 2 minutes per side for medium rare
While steaks rest, grill potato wedges until they have grill marks & are crisp on all sides
Grill whiskey soaked apples about 30 seconds per side, just long enough to caramelize
Remove from grill, serve & enjoy!
